Give yourself a score out of 10 for each statement depending on how strongly you agree or disagree with each statement.

Use this as a key:

5. We have a budget in place for this year and are working towards it (note: if you are working to a budget but are underachieving against it, score a maximum of five on this question)
6. We have a written business plan which looks forward at least three years
7. Everyone in the business understands the company's goals and plans and is committed to achieving them
8. I feel like we are 'ahead of the game' compared to our competitors
9. We have clear succession or exit plans in place and we continually review our options
10. I am able to work reasonable hours, I have a good work/life balance, and I thoroughly enjoy running the business

90+ Excellent!
